Samuel Adams Returns - The Anti-Federalists had it right!

Tom Niewulis

After more than 13 years active duty in the Navy, Tom Niewulis became an entrepreneur during the recession of the 80’s. After developing two successful small businesses, he moved into the corporate environment, becoming a Top 1,000 Executive in the Telecommunications Industry. His background is in nuclear physics, with a degree in Behavioral Science and MBA program in Telecom Management and Organizational Design & Development. Tom has been a speaker nationally and internationally in the technology environment. He speaks across the country as his alter-ego Samuel Adams, presenting Constitutional expositions such as “The Tale of Two Constitutions: From Covenant to the Present” and explaining issues such as the ongoing “Article V Conversations.” He has published “Not All Conservatives Are Constitutionalists,” and will be releasing “The Tale of Two Constitutions: From Covenant to the Present” at the end of the year.

But Tom’s passion has been engagement in the political arena for over thirty years. During this journey he has had a heart for the founding of the United States from her historical beginning. Even while on active duty in the military, Tom began an intimate study of the Constitution as originally established and then as amended. One great influence to the early steps of the journey occurred in the 70’s, when Dr. Francis Schaeffer was teaching that Christians and Pastors were responsible to engage in the cultural and political renewal of America. As it was at the time of the Founders, the revival of the hearts of Americans to God would foster the renewal of Constitutionalism based on the morality and virtue defined by the majority of Founders, including Ben Franklin.

Tom has read many original documents of the founding era. He has found that much written in modern history is not what the founders said or intended. Tom became interested in Samuel Adams about ten years ago when he first studied the Firebrand of the Revolution. Tom and Mr. Adams have many things in common. Their common perspective on Christianity, their love of their country, their desire for truth in Liberty and the desire to ensure that the country would sustain a path that would honor those who set the course for the Republic from before its inception.

Tom brings his alter-ego to life through Samuel Adams Returns, which is supported through the National Center for the Development of Constitutional Strategies. He appears as Mr. Adams in character, speaking the words that great writer and political mind left for posterity. Adams experienced every nuance of what affects personal, business, economic and political life. Samuel Adams returns to stir the minds and hearts to the Founders reason and purposes for self-governance. Samuel Adams said, “It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in peoples minds.”
